Opening of the ITF J60 Makati Phinma Junior Championships at the Manila Polo Club

At yesterday's opening of the ITF J60 Makati Phinma Junior Championships at the Manila Polo Club, 88 year old PHINMA Chair Oscar Hilado welcomed the juniors to this tournament PHINMA has been hosting for 20 years. He also took the opportunity to congratulate Alex Eala who won this in 2018 as a 13-year old. Alex also spoke words of encouragement to the junior participants and gamely answered questions from the younger ones who fondly call her Ate Alex. PHILTA President Cong. Eric Olivarez, Philippine Tennis Academy President Rommie Chan, and Manila Polo Club President Alex Revilla were present to welcome Alex and junior participants from around Asia.
